Do you have a daily routine or do you just take it as it comes? If your routine gets out of whack does it throw your whole day off?

A Hairy Situation...

Do you have a particular hair style you are known for? Or do you remember a hair style from your youth that you look back at now and think - what was I thinking? Was it long, was it short, did you have the style because of your mom? Include a picture if you have one!

Let It Snow...

Do you live in a climate that it snows? Have you had your first snow yet this year? What emotions does a snow fall evoke for you? Do you love it, think it is beautiful, or do you dislike it, hate to drive in it, etc.? If you don't live in an area that it snows then write about a memory you have of visiting snow. If you have NEVER seen or been in snow write about what you imagine it is like.

What makes you feel overwhelmed or stressed out? How do you handle it? What helps you relieve stress and make you feel like you can conquer the world?

What are you doing right now (besides reading this blog!)? What have you done today? It doesn't have to be exciting, just describe what your day has been like or is likely to be like (if it is first thing in the morning). Give the future a glimpse into what a normal average day in your life is like.

Traditions...

What are some of your family traditions? It doesn't have to be holiday traditions, if it is that is good also, but it could be something you do in the summer time, a specific trip you take every year, an important meal, or a way you celebrate birthdays. It can be more than one tradition - it really is up to you - but write about something you or your family does consistently from year to year.

I am Thankful...

Today is Thankgiving in the United States - but it really doesn't matter where you live. What are you thankful for? Anything at all - something small or something big, family, friends, possessions that make your life easier - whatever you are thankful for - write about it!

Them Bones...

Have you ever broken a bone? Which one? How did you brake it? Did you have to have surgery or a cast? How long did it take to get back to your 'old' self? If you have never broken a bone, has one of your children or has your spouse? Or have you ever had a serious injury?

Teachers...

Tell about your favorite teacher. What made that teacher extra special? Are you still in contact with that teacher? Does the teacher know that you think of them so highly? Maybe take a little bit of extra time and pen a note to that teacher thanking them for all they have done!

Motivation...

What motivates you? Is it family, health, money, friends, yourself, or something else? What makes you get out of bed everyday (and I don't mean the kids or the dog!), or go to the gym, clean your house, or go to work? Be honest - do you do it for yourself, or because of peer pressure, or because you love the results?

Sunday...

What are your Sunday traditions? Do you go to church, spend it with family, relax, watch football? Maybe you go out to breakfast, call a friend, or maybe you don't have specific Sunday tradition. If you don't write about what you did THIS Sunday.

The Outhouse...

Okay this one might seem a little odd - but I bet everyone as a memory of this! Share a memory involving an outhouse. Whether it was out on the farm or a Porta John somewhere. Does the word outhouse take you pack to a time and place?

Mothers and Fathers...

Who do you identify with more, your mother or your father? Has it always been this way or has it changed over time? Did you identify with your mother as a child and your father now? Or is it different in different situations, for instance, you identify with your mother when it comes to politics and your father when it comes to business?

Grandparents...

What kind of roll did your Grandparents have in your up bringing? Did you see them, daily, weekly, or just once in awhile? What are some of your memories of your Grandparents?

Curfew...

Did you have a curfew growing up? Were you good about being home on time or did you try to stay out late? Did you ever get in trouble for missing your curfew? What happened? Was it an honest mistake or situation, or were you being sneaky and got caught?

Playing At The Park

Did you get to play at the park much as a kid? Or do you take your own children to the park often? What is or was your favorite part about going to the park? Veterans Day...

Yesterday we honored those who served or serve in uniform. This is very close to my heart as I am married to a Veteran! So today I would like you to journal about Veterans in your life and about their accomplishments. If you don't know any Veterans then write about someone you think is a true patriot - maybe they volunteer their time to make this country a better place but don't formally serve in uniform - I think military wives fall into this catagory.
