Yesterday in History

Yesterday was not a good day for American. The shooting at Virginia Tech was and is still to a certain degree imaginable. Although it isn’t Pearl Harbor, 9/11, or the death of a President, it is one of those moments that you will probably remember for some time to come. So today write about your thoughts and feelings of this horrific event. I don’t want to be morbid, but emotions and feelings are usually the most honest immediately following an event like this. Through time we filter, and process so our feelings and our thoughts change. So it is important to capture these feelings now. We may come back at some point and either re-read or write again on this topic and see just how we have ‘filtered’ what has happened as we try to make sense of this tragic day.
